A tungsten shielding device for syringes 5 and 10 ml. This device makes remote filling and administration to the patient of PET syringes possible.
The syringe is filled out of a vial in the dosecalibrator. Measurement of the syringe takes place by calculating the difference of the activity in the vial prior to and after filling the syringe. The syringe itself does not leave the shielded syringe holder. The syringe holder has a handle for transportation of the syringe to the patient. The activity as administered to patient without removing the syringe out of the shielded holder.
