The Nuvia Scinto monitor is a doserate meter with a NaI detector. This detector is 500 times more sensitive than a GM detector. The Scinto is capable of doing fast and accurate measurements at background radiation level. The monitor is commonly used for localization of radioactive sources, leak measurements of shielding material, etc.
