The CoMo-170 is a compact and lightweight (800g) monitor. It uses a plastic scintillator which simultaneously measures alpha, and beta/ gamma radiation. These detectors are more sensitive than gas-filled detectors and foils can be easily replaced by the user. The system is based on a µ -controller with a LCD and pushbuttons. The menu structure allows setting of personal preferences. The CoMo-170DL has a second build-in detector (GM tube) which allows contamination and dose rate measurements with one instrument.

1. Wandhouder met of zonder laadapparaat. In de houder werkt de CoMo als een handenmonitor. Er wordt continu achtergrond gemeten, zodra de handen voor de detector worden gehouden start de ingestelde meettijd, daarna geeft de monitor een indicatie besmet / niet besmet.
2. Op de CoMo 170 zijn externe (GM of NaI) detectoren aan te sluiten voor het meten van dosis of dosistempo.
3. Een trolley maakt het mogelijk snel en gemakkelijk een vloer op besmettingen te controleren.

External detectors can be connected to the CoMo-170(DL).
